Location
The Windwood House is located in Lanark Village, Florida which is just five minutes or so East of Carrabelle, Florida. Technically, the house has a Carrabelle address.

The house sits between Highway 98 East and the beach on the South side of the road.

Lots of essentials are located within a 5 minute drive. There’s a gas station and boat ramp just a few blocks East. The nearest grocery store, hardware store, coffee shop and restaurants are in downtown Carrabelle which is just 5 minutes away. There’s also a golf course (we’ve been told it is a nice course) about 10 minutes away, too.
This region of Florida is referred to as the Forgotten Coast and is well loved for the abundant nature and fishing.
