What to Expect
We understand that planning your upcoming vacation is a lot of work! So let us try to make this a bit easier on you.
We’ve tried to add as much detail as possible, but if you find you still have a question, please contact us. We are happy to answer questions.
Here’s some info on what we supply…
The Kitchen
This is probably one of your biggest questions. If you plan on cooking during your stay, or even just eat your to-go food at home, you’re probably wondering what’s in those kitchen cabinets. We’ve done our best to stock the cabinets with all the essentials for cooking, eating, and drinking, except for the food. You’ll find…
- A Keurig Coffee Maker plus a regular coffee maker. (We do provide a starter kit of coffee but recommend you bring your own to supplement what is provided. The regular coffee maker has a reusable filter.)
- Dinner plates, small plates, bowls and coffee mugs for 8
- Silverware for 8
- Regular drinking glasses
- Plastic cups
- Wine glasses
- Pots & pans
- Basic bakeware including cookie sheets, casserole (or brownie…) pan, loaf pan, etc.
- Spatulas, a can opener, serving spoons, wine opener, peeler, pizza cutter, etc.
- Mixing bowls
- Pot holders
- Measuring cups & spoons
- Cutting board
- Colander/Strainer
- Knife block
Plus, we have appliances for you to use. A refrigerator, range (oven/stove), microwave, toaster oven, traditional coffee maker and a Keurig (don’t forget your own coffee!) Think we should add something to the kitchen? Let us know. We’re always looking to improve your stay.
In General
We supply you with some of the basics anyone would need. We don’t promise to supply a large quantity; plan on buying more if you’re staying with us for a while. But here’s a list of some things you can expect to find to get you started:
- Toilet paper and paper towels
- Windex/Glass cleaner
- A broom
- A vacuum
- Garbage bags and an on-site private garbage can (make sure to take it out to the street on Monday morning)
- Dishwasher detergent (there’s a drying rack, too)
- Iron and ironing board
- A hair dryer in each bathroom
We supply linens, pillows (you’ll find some extras in your closet), comforters, bath towels, and a few beach towels.
Plus, we just added access to the on-site laundry room and a propane grill! Both are included with our standard rates.
We’re thinking about adding an outdoor shower spot, too. We’ll let you know when that’s done.
